Room Tour

Hello my pumpkins!
I thought that I could share with you just a few ideas of how to make your room more personal and quirky! All of these ideas are from features in my own room and I hope they will inspire you to improve your own room!

As are many of the things I
in my room, this was a gift from a family member. It's soap, sculptured to look like a flower. Not only is the flower stunning, but it came in a cute little round box and is perfect to place on my mantel piece as a decoration! This particular one is from Thailand but I am sure there are places in other countries that sell something like this!

I find that these little paper notes always come in handy when I need to jot something down, whether its a phone number or a reminder note so I dont forget something! This sits on my desk and also gives a very professional look as well as being pink and cute!
Also sitting on my desk is my homemade pencil pot! I made this from a clear pot that held my colouring pencils when I first bought them. I simply wrapped the cylinder in this stripey wrapping paper and ta da! A useful pot to hold all my pencils and pens! If you don't have a pot like this, you can use an empty kitchen or toilet roll holder and simply block the bottom off with some paper! A cheap and simple way of organising you stationery and keeping your desk clean!
No room Is complete without a bed side table! On mine is a coaster, a purple lamp, a tissue box and most importantly, my docking station that also doubles up as an alarm clock! My bed side table also came with a rack underneath which is useful for putting any magazines or books I am currently reading there so they are easy to find when I need them!
Well, every room needs a bedroom door hanger! This notifies everyone that this is YOUR room! This was also a present from Thailand and I love it! You can make one and personalize it or simply buy one from a home store!

Above are some more fun ideas for ways to store small bit and bobs! The first was another present from Thailand and simply hangs from the wall and holds small bit and bobs that I dont want to loose. The second is a fabric container from ikea and I find it useful to store my sprays, cream, hair brush etc. In here! The last is a tin from amazon and basically stores what it says it does!

I hope you have enjoyed taking a look at some of the things in my room and that it has inspired you to redecorate your room! Let me know if you would like to know how to make any crafts as I am looking to do some crafts blog posts very soon!

Adios! xx
